Italian Grinder Sliders

These Italian Grinder Sliders are a  quick, flavor-packed take on the classic grinder sandwich—ready in just 30 minutes. Use Sola’s Savory & Buttery rolls, layered with deli meats and gooey melted cheese, then finish them with a bright, tangy grinder-style salad on top. Simple, satisfying, and seriously delicious.

Ingredients

  • 12 Sola Savory & Buttery rolls
  • 4 Ounces ham, thinly sliced
  • 4 Ounces thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 4 Ounces thinly sliced salami
  • 4 Ounces provolone cheese, sliced

For the Glaze

  • Half a stick of salted butter, melted
  • ½ Teaspoon Italian Seasoning or dried oregano

Grinder Salad topping

  • 1 Cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 Cup roughly chopped fresh spinach
  • ¼ Cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • ¼ Cup roughly chopped marinated red peppers
  • 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • ½ Teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ Teaspoon salt
  • ½ Teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

  2. Cut the Sola Savory and Buttery rolls horizontally. Lay the bottoms in a baking dish. Layer provolone cheese on the rolls first and then layer on the salami, ham and pepperoni in any order you like.

  3. Place the tops back on the rolls and cut through the sandwiches between each roll.

  4. Mix together the melted butter and Italian seasoning or dried oregano and brush over the rolls, reserve half for spreading over the rolls once baked. Cover the rolls with a layer of baking parchment and then aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, remove the foil and parchment paper for the last 5 minutes of baking.

  5. While the sandwiches bake, make the grinder salad by mixing all of the ingredients together in a bowl

  6. Once the sandwiches are done, remove the tops, top with the grinder salad and put the tops back on, brush with the reserved melted butter and herb mixture, Serve immediately.
